Miguel Stanišić is 7 years old. He goes to school in Rogatica. Miguel lives with mother and brother. His mother is poor, and father doesn’t care much about them at all.
Miguel’s problem is damaged sight on a left eye, and also some beginnings of problem on a right too. After so many examines, through the Eye Clinic “Eliksir” in Novi Sad Miguel got an opportunity to go on surgery in Russia, on an Eye Clinic in Kaluga. The surgery is expensive and complicated, but his mother Tanja is not in a position to pay amount necessary for the surgery. Amount necessary for all costs is 9000 KM (around 4500 Euro plus travel costs ), plus travel costs.

Young girl Nalda Hrvat from her puberty has a epileptically attacks. On comprehensive tests in German clinic for brain Bielefeld doctors found out that she has an obstruction of brain blood vein, and from theirs opinion they can treat it. The treatment costs 27 500 euro.
On June 2008, she supposes to go to Germany on a schedule, but because of the insufficiency of the money her trip is canceled. She couldn’t get even visa for Germany. On October 2008 the humanitarian telephone is opened here in Sarajevo just for this region available so people could donate some money for her trip to Germany on 25th November 2008. After the trip in Germany Nalda got her therapy and was send to home. Therapy is very expensive and for life time. All of the money around 11 500 euro Nalda spent on her therapy. Safet Puzić from Živinice in a year 1990 had a heart surgery in United States of America. His health condition during past couple of years got worst and worst and the doctors from Tuzla Clinic gave him an option to have another surgery, on which he will get replacement for the heart. The surgery costs are more than 23000 KM (around 11500 euro). Safet is an old man, in a pension, lives with his family (five of them) and the youngest son had also heart surgery on 2005. in Sarajevo.

Ivan Buzov was an father of three kids. He got ill from an cirrhosis, and had to go on a transplantation. Unfortunately he lost his battle, and died before even got the liver. Vedad Ražanica is a little baby, born with a disease of gut, specially known as “gastroschisis” (it’s kind of malware in a part of abdomen’s wall), and he’s struggling for a life. After he was born he had immediate surgery in Child Clinic in Sarajevo. And he need to go in outside the Bosnia and Herzegovina for another surgery. That kind of surgery costs more than 100 000 euro, which is too much for his parents. All people from town made a great effort for this little child so that he can go as soon as it possible in Belgium for a surgery.
According to information available now, Vedad got his opportunity for life, had a surgery and he feels just fine. Unfortunately his parents still need to collect the money for all costs they’ve had during their staying there, surgery, travel etc. Our action with this phone line will be until March 2010.
